Michelle is an Australian alt-country artist from the NSW Central Coast. Her sound sits comfortably between classic Americana, indie folk, and roots-driven alt-country storytelling, with country-folk twang and a touch of ’90s alternative spirit at its core.

Her musical expression is complemented by the rhythmic accompaniment of her husband James, who often joins her on percussion. Together, they create an immersive experience, drawing listeners into an experience that leaves a lasting impression.

Her distinctive vocal style and evocative songwriting have earned her growing recognition, with multiple singles receiving airplay on ABC Country, including features on the Grass Roots program and Saturday Night Country with Beccy Cole.
 

Michelle’s debut album Flannel Flowers, released in May 2025, was produced with acclaimed Australian country musician Bill Chambers, who adds a warm, authentic country charm to her sound. With heartfelt storytelling and genre-blurring style, her music resonates deeply, leaving a lasting impression long after the final note.

Beyond her own music, Michelle is a passionate advocate for original artists on the NSW Central Coast. As the co-founder of the Central Coast Acoustic Songwriter Sessions, she has created a platform to celebrate local talent and nurture a thriving creative community.
